Mariana Caplan
Mariana Caplan is an adjunct faculty member at the California Institute of Integral Studies near San Francisco, California. She has a background as a counselor and anthropologist, and has spent a great deal of time traveling in India and Central America.
After writing the groundbreaking Halfway Up the Mountain, Caplan's next book was To Touch Is to Live. Currently she is at work on her seventh book.
